Intergenerational Mystery Game!
Do you like shenanigans and also learning together about our UU values? We have an opportunity for you! The UUA has created a one-session intergenerational mystery game called “The Mystery of the Slightly Sentient Chalice.” The plot is:
“For several Sundays at Unitarian Universalist Harmony Harbor Church (UUHaHa, affectionately), the chalice flame has been behaving strangely - some weeks barely catching, some weeks burning bright. No one can figure out why. Your players are the ad hoc committee assembled to investigate, armed with eight folders of evidence (one per Sunday) piecing together what’s been happening at UUHaHa, and why the flame keeps telling them something they haven’t quite been ready to hear.”
It’s for groups of adults and youth over about age ten, and is about how we try to put “love at the center” as UUs. Want to help plan this for First Church folks? Just excited about participating? Please email Rev EB.
