SUMMARY:Common Cathedral
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, June 21\, we are planning to offer lunch to our nei
 ghbors who are congregants of the Common Cathedral. The common cathedral i
 s a congregation that meets every Sunday\, rain\, shine\, or snow at the B
 rewer Fountain to support our unhoused neighbors with a spiritual communit
 y and lunch. They have requested 120 lunches consisting of a variety of sa
 ndwiches\, including egg salad\, tuna salad\, turkey and cheese\, ham and 
 cheese\, and PB and J\, as well as chips\, cookies\, fruit\, and a drink. 
 We also usually offer fresh fruit salad.\n\nThe common cathedral organizat
 ion offers various programming and some concrete services to our unhoused 
 neighbors\, including art programming and outreach to care for the whole p
 erson. If you are interested in purchasing art supplies and/or clean\, dry
  socks and underclothes. We offered such items in the winter\, and they we
 re gratefully received.\n\nThis is a First Church community-wide effort\, 
 whether it is participating in the lunch and church service at the Brewer 
 Fountain on Sunday the 21st\, or coming to church early on the 21st to mak
 e sandwiches and assemble bagged lunches\, or making sandwiches at home an
 d bringing them on Sunday\, pulling together the entire lunch\, coloring t
 he bags we use to offer lunch\, or providing the funding for the lemonade\
 , cups\, napkins\, chips\, cookies\, fruit for fruit salad\, and drinks. T
 his is a chance to celebrate spiritual friendships within our congregation
  and with their congregation.\n\nPlease consider how you might support thi
