Our church building sits at a junction of roads that were once Indigenous trade and travel routes. First Church’s Puritan ancestors are responsible for the theft of these lands and for cultural and physical violence against Indigenous people. At least three of the church founders enslaved people of African descent. This church was also financially supported by members who were merchants profiting from the unpaid labor of enslaved people and the commodities they produced. Our congregation has begun the work of repair by learning and telling our more complete history. We will continue to work with community and denominational partners as we strive to make our community whole. We invite you to bring your open heart, your ideas, and your commitment into this work.

First Church Recital Series

First Church is happy to announce our Classical Recital Series! Join us for three wonderful afternoons of beautiful music and refreshments. We suggest a donation of $25, but all are welcome! Donations can be made at the door or online. All proceeds support our performers and First Church. Learn more here.

Craft Fairs

We host a dynamic and fabulous craft fair three times a year.

Booth-rental fees raise money for our church and its mission; vendors enjoy support with setup and breakdown and keep 100% of their sales. Patrons can buy awesome, creative, and fabulous hand-made crafts and art, enjoy live music, and support good causes with our children’s bake sale. Learn more here.
